India probably has the most wasted potential of any Asian country.
They need an Ataturk style figure to just make the country secular and enforce that secularism aggressively. The amount of ethnic groups in that country all beefing with each other is insane. They can hardly get shyt done because they lack a strong national identity.
And the reputation that follows their men is truly foul. There's so much potential for that country to be the kind of manufacturing and tech powerhouse that China is, but they need to sort out this internal conflict.

indias sanitary Image is big problem a right-wing populist like modi could have easily addressed. just create a jobs program for women in poorer regions to manufacture gloves to handle food and other sanitary kitchen items and distribute it to all food businesses that doesn't cater to the upper middle-class. i know he sees those videos mocking his countrymen cooking/food handling habits so I don't know why he hasn't done anything to rehabilitate their image.

Half of Pakistan survives on Indus water.
GoI has also decided to shut down the Pakistani embassy in India and Visas issued to Pakistanis stand cancelled
