This country is so different from 20 years ago, I can't imagine the discourse if another 9/11 happened today.

NY had 1% of what's going on in LA right now with fires popping up at parks and roads and the reason was because it literally did not rain for 6 weeks so everything on the ground became real flammable. I swear you had people tryna blame it on migrants acting a fool.


I've seen videos of politicians in other countries throw down on each other. It might be time for some politicians to feel that first hand because we're way too far away from normalcy.

No way to deny root cause is way more upstream.

Its stems from climate but climate change is really a policy issue, because our government refuses to collectively enact stricter regulations on companies.

Everyone needs to know that these fires were made possible by global heating, which is caused by the fossil fuel industry, which has lied and blocked action for half a century. And that this will all get much, much, much worse until we end the fossil fuel industry

The current projections for 2050 are looking bleak.

The main safe destination spots are NY, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

I suggest everyone do their due diligence and get hip to what the researchers and scientists are screaming at the top of their lungs right now and saying, because there’s more to come and shyt is getting worse.

Meanwhile Republicans want to stand in the way of addressing it and even accelerate it with going back to drilling, coal, etc.

Additionally, remember that a large part of the country is the Rocky Mountains. So that “livable” area doesn’t really count for much and is non-ideal.

This country is going to get choked out by the climate change.

On the other side of the world China is going in the complete opposite direction: switching to clean energy, combating desertification, etc.

It’s going to be real interesting by 2040 and we haven’t done shyt while the other country has been building with clean energy (not to mention EV) for the last 20 years.

They are but there has been very fierce winds, so it is dangerous for the helicopters as well as dropping the water.
