Israel's been trying to appease the rest of it's allies by acceding to their demands for ceasefires and whatnot all while there's still about 100 of their kidnapped citizens in Gaza and, simultaneously, getting attacked by Hezbollah. With less allies breathing down their neck and slowing things down, they can perform military operations efficiently and effectively to bring them home and destroy Hamas/Hezbollah in one fell swoop which means LESS casualties.​
