preface: this 2014 SF was the first soccer match I’ve watched. I heard the hype and the storylines from Mexicans at school and said I had to peep. There was a period of time where I saw these nikkas score like 3 goals in 4 minutes or sum (later found out it was 4 in 6 officially) but I didn’t understand the magnitude until Germany lost the other week. nikkas was pissed off that for FOUR years. I see it called the most embarrassing L ever...but I feel like this OSU L about 2 years back was some of the most ball I’ve seen. Unlike soccer, you’re privy to many chances of broken D in a game and OSU couldnt catch ONE break.

Brazil was hosting that WC. It was "their" tournament. They were putting the 6th star on the shirt. Losing woulda been horrible b/c of the expectations of the country but to lose like that The whole country was on suicide watch. And then to add ether to the out of control fire, have Argentina possibly win the WC on Brazilian soil
