Interesting take here...it does seem as though as soon as he started taking off they put him in a dress

TBH I don't understand the fascination with getting upset about cross dressing movies when if anything it seems to make a mockery out of it for comedic effect. If folks feel this is the only way black men can get on in Hollywood, I feel the disgust with it.

But cross dressing men, at least it used to be, was always looked as a spectacle in a lot of comedy around the world. British comedy for a long time whole thing was being known for cross dressing men and playing off the feeble attempts of an obvious man trying to act like a "lady".

Plus in Britain in particular shyt goes back all the way to Monty Python. Then in the US one of the biggest movies was Mrs Doubtfire. So, don't know if this this comedy trope is targeted specifically at black men.

In short, it's comedy and you hope your viewers are smart enough to view it as comedy and not as a life guide. Ignoring 2019 where it's no longer treated as a joke though. :yeshrug: breh shouldn't be making essentially apologies for playing a comedic part in a comedy movie in retrospect imo but he's free to his feelings on the subject obviously.
