Brandon Quintin Adams and The murder of Merlin Santana

So I'm working on my nostalgia TikTok page, which will become my podcast, and I decided I was going to do a post on Brandon Quintin Adams from P.U.T.S., Sandlot, Mighty Ducks, Moonwalker fame. Dude was always on my screen as a kid, and as a black actor and child, I looked up to him. I was surprised to find out that he was the driver in the car the night Merlin Santana was brutally murdered. That was his best friend, and after the murder Brandon took a very long hiatus from acting. The whole situation was crazy, and could be a movie itself. I think these guys would have been huge in the early 00's.

This was so sad and the circumstances were fukked up. I don't know if Merlin and Brandon would've been "superstars" but they definitely could've continued to have decent careers.

Brandon Adams was already out the spotlight, and damn near out of Hollywood by the time this happened. I think he'd only had a random appearance on Moesha. There were both Rudy's friends on Cosby Show. Merlin Santana was doing aa little better, having a couple of sitcoms and Steve Harvey, but I think h would've faded out as well.
