If they were occupied, I hope the residents are okay.
If it was vacant, it probably doesn't have home owner's insurance.
If there was active construction, it might have builder's risk - but I doubt the policy, if honored under these circumstances, would really be a profit.
I wouldn't be surprised it if was haters, though probably just bad luck.
