I'm just now seeing how this era of Hip Hop really treats these top 90's veteran female rappers making comeback attempts after their prime. Compared to the likes of their male counterparts like Juicy J, Fat Joe and Jay Z who made hot songs past their prime. MC Lytes lil comeback in 1996 will probably be the only time a solo female vet could shine past her prime.
Listening to this track it sounds like a new female rapper trying to sound like Gangsta Boo.
Between the Gangsta Boo track and this Kim track its safe to say a feature with a hot artist like Cardi B or The City Girls coulda taken both records further. But this is the vets doing it solo. If this song came out in the mid 2000's it woulda been big for Kim.
