In an update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE status for the remainder of the year, it should be noted that the WWE World Champion is not presently advertised for any TV or PPV events for the rest of 2014.

a couple weeks ago, WWE’s contract with Lesnar does allow the company to use him if need be on TV while he is the champ, but interestingly, he is not listed for any events for the rest of the year.

For past WWE appearances, Lesnar was always listed weeks, sometimes even months, in advance, so the fact that he’s not listed for anything in October, November and December might be a telling sign that he will not be defending his title until after the new year.

UPDATE
WWE has been keeping Paul Heyman off television because they don’t want to draw attention to Brock Lesnar being off programming and missing the monthly PPV events. That, and with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion gone, they just don’t have any relevant material for Heyman to work with. In the past they’ve paired him up with guys like CM Punk, Ryback and Curtis Axel, but with his one and only client holding such a prestigious place on the roster right now, it’s likely they don’t want to water down Heyman’s role by partnering him with anyone else.

Currently, there are no plans to bring Lesnar back to TV prior to the Royal Rumble PPV in January. While the show is still several months away, there are talks of running Cena vs. Lesnar III as the co-main event, followed by the Royal Rumble match itself.

Man brock has one cot damm sweet ass deal and his contract is almost up
And he about to get even more money you cant let him walk after you let him break taker streak that shyt would look horrible

Brock won...

Nonetheless, this is very interesting. It MIGHT bring a little bit more prestige to the title. Titles in other sports are barely defended as often as pro wrestling titles. In 93, Hogan won the title at WM and wasn't seen until KOTR months later.

Brock being booked as this bully who can show up where he wants when he wants and is booked to be damn near unbeatable is the perfect booking for a guy you give the title to who you won't even put on TV often.

There ain't many ppl you can throw at him on a PPV to last until WM31 anyway..... I guess it makes sense to save Reigns OR Bryan to face him at WM.. makes sense to have Orton turn face and get a title shot at RR, have DB if he's back face him at NWO and then give Reigns his WM moment at WM31 when he becomes the guy to beat the 1 in 21-1.... other than that, no one's on a level to challenge Lesnar unless it's Cena weaseling his way into another title shot but I'd rather see Batista come back and get his shot if Orton doesn't turn face because Lesnar/Batista is long overdue

:stopitslime: They need to get at least one more Lesnar match before the year ends. One more victory over Cena to solidify the fact he beat the main star of the company and doesn't need to defend the title until a true challenge appears (This sounds like burying the entire roster, but they do that almost every week:manny:) Have Heyman da Gawd cut a promo every week selling that, and build someone for a big match on WM or the Rumble.

How has he been booked as unbeatable when Cena had him beat? Then Seth Rollins had him beat?

Financial limitations :heh:

Good that they kept the title on dude. Imagine a guy beating Taker's streak, killing Cena at SS and then take the belt right off him :heh:

Now that I think about it...We'd be exactly where we're at right now. Not knowing what the fukk is going on.

He's right, the way NOC ended makes it appear as if Cena is the uncrowned champion

You guys realize that it was reported Vince was rewriting the script for Raw AS IT WAS ON TV, right? This means nothing. They just haven't figured out what they are doing with him next, which you can say for every guy on the roster.

True, but do you really think that Brock is going to be at the ready to travel from Middle of Nowhere, Saskatchewan unless he was knew he was coming in for a specific date and a specific match? It's not impossible, but...

Brock's giving the :danielsfu: to the concept of a defending champion. $5 Million to do nothing with the belts...smartest man in wrestling.

Since his contract has been modified and they are paying him extra for any of those extra dates? Yeah. They aren't going to call him in for a match on 24 hours notice but they might for a TV appearance, and he would go.
