Has anyone read this book? I didn't even know it existed until today. Recommendation?

I've had it since it came out a couple years ago. Very good read, it's not absolutely about Illmatic persay but how the lyrics of Illmatic (and other albums) shaped the mind state of the young, urban, African American experience. I'd definitely recommend it.
