This was good. Some parts your flow felt a lil rushed (like 6 bars in). Prop, I felt like you've done beats with more punch, maybe it's where I'm listening but I felt like the snares or high hats or something felt too sharp and loud.

is the vocals loud enough tho?...some cats say they can't hear me, I'm trying to figure that out..
Needs to be mix your vocals coming out the right speaker and the beat on the left on my side.

Vocals are fine...you can turn them up a little bit but I think they were fine.
and i'd say keep mixing yourself. say that bread unless u can someone to do it for free. if u trying to money down on wut ur doing, invest it elsewhere and try to study this. mixing can eat up a lot of budget.

yeah, i didn't mix the beat very well. i wanted to fix it before it sent it to him but the files were corrupted so i couldn't really do anything about it.

What are some resources to start mixing at home ?
I record when I get a chance and leave it up to people
who understand the process to do the rest for me, but
I'd like to be freed of that and do more for myself when creating projects.
Also the track is dope SmartMouf, and the criticism involving the actual beat itself has
been brought up already.

This is where I've been fukking up...Somewhere in these steps it fukks up the audio..
I use Audio Audition...
Dynamics Processing - VocalComp, -24, +12dB, Fast (It's a preset)
Dynamics Processing - De-Esser Light (Preset)
Graphic Equalizer - Shado Settings (10 band EQ, first 3 at -5, next 4 at 0, last 3 at 5)
Hard Limiting - shado settings (Max amplitude at -.1 db, boost input by 6 db, Lookahead time = 7 ms, release time = 100 ms) (+ Link left and right)
One of them muthafukkas fukk up that sound, cause I sound great for ME, but for certain people...Its all bootleg...
I need to know which one fukks it up...lol...It's taking away from the heat b...lol

hmmm...that's the fx chain on your vocals? i dunno why any of that would pan the beat one way and the vox the other without you knowing it lol.
