I actually like the Drew Barrymore film but this one looks generic, will give it a chance.
Unless they are hiding it, it doesn't appear dad is going to have his powers. Original was a good movie.
blumhouse remakes as of late have been iffy...black christmas, fantasy island...although Invisible man was good. so we'll see
The original was one of my favorites, don't really see the need for a remake but whatever, I'll give it a shot.
