Back around December I got a new Entertainment Center for my living room so I unhooked everything I had and probably out of sheer laziness I never hooked my blu ray player back up. A couple of months later I tried to hook it back up but I kept getting HDMI handshake issues. I have this player, Panasonic DMP-BD60 and whenever I turn on the player and switch it to the imput on my TV nothing pops up on my screen but I get a U73 error code on my blu ray player. If I use component cords instead of HDMI the player works but I don't want to do that because I'll be losing quality. The blu ray player used to work fine and I have the player going directly into the TV. I've tried using different HDMI ports and a couple of different cords. Has anyone had similar issues ? Could it be the actual HDMI port on my player is bad and it's not making a good connection with the HDMI cord ?
