Y'all know I suck at thread titles so if you got something better help me :francis:

Was all good just a year ago :francis:

As it stands, it's all but confirmed that Kyrie & Horford are gone. Hayward had a horrible season and his contract looking catastrophic but maybe he can bounce back. Baynes, Morris, Theis look to be gone.

Tatum didn't have the leap we hoped but I still believe in him. JB got off to a rough start but he finished strong. Wasn't the plan but looks like they're gonna have to be the face of the franchise now. Rozier was trash and might be brought back :francis: but the Time Lord should be unleashed :blessed:

Have 3 1st round picks but unlikely we keep all 3. With Horford & Kyrie leaving they'll have enough cap space to be players in free agency, but who knows who we can get with an uncertain direction.

I loved watching horford play :mjcry:

I guess we're trying to get a max slot but who do we even use it on? Vucci? :patrice::patrice:

Im expecting at least one trade tonight..maybe 2.

Id like Bol Bol too

Guess we'll see:jbhmm:

I'd rather take on expirings or give players loaded one-year deals than give Vucevic a huge contract.

Bol Bol is worth the risk for one of the picks in the 20s. I think his potential is very volatile but what do we have to lose?

Id probably rather that too but lets see what kinda trade danny pulls the trigger on first before we speculate too much about FA

Id even take Bol at 14 :yeshrug:

High risk high reward

I weigh more than him and im more than a foot shorter :picard:

Also..i live close to where Manute lived

I saw him cross the street one time and my lord he was tall as fukk

Good guy tho rip

Dap for Wu reference in the thread title.
shyt kind of unraveled quick, but we need to move on from players who don't want to be here so fukk it.

I was surprised to hear that players were unhappy with Brad and how he treated Gordon. We won't ever know what happened in the locker room but it is Brad's job to get Hayward looks and plays so he can get his confidence back and put that gruesome injury behind him. Whether or not you like Gordon and his contract is besides the point. At 30 mil, he NEEDS to be showcased, or at least put in that spot.

Kyrie walking is whatever to me. Dude is a hun and a liability on d. Shooting 6-20 in playoff games saying he should have shot 25 times? I was fine when we traded for him and I am fine with him walking.

As much as I like Horford, I don't think he is worth 4/100 at this point in his career so if he can go out and get that, more power to him.

We definitely sat on Rosie too long and now he is basically a dead asset. Need a good 2 way PG who doesnt have a big ego and can facilitate play making over chucking and a body in the middle and we will be alright.

We will see where this goes. I still believe in Tatum and Brown, hopefully Gordon can bounce back to pre-injury play and we can get a few FAs to come in and make an impact. It is what it is at this point.

Coming off a torn ACL, weight issues, question marks about his work ethic :francis:

But his ceiling is so high I can see Danny saying fukk it

I like Bitadze too but I fear he may be Enes Kanter-esque on defense. PJ Washington is cool as well but admittedly he seems like a high floor, low-ceiling player. Same with Herro.

Didn't have you on the tag list, my fault :salute:

I see both sides. I understand players being frustrated since they were probably outplaying Hayward in practice and then seeing him struggle in games, but at the same time, knowing what he's capable of, the investment in him, and the injury he had, how else is he supposed to get to where we needed him to be? Hayward was probably our biggest X-factor.

I was indifferent to Kyrie leaving, I felt we could still be a homecourt team with improvement from Tatum & Hayward, but without Horford that ship seems like it's sailed barring a miracle trade. I'm not mad at Danny not giving him that type of contract, but it still sucks to see him go.

At 14, with our need for a big...i think u swing big with bol

Whats his floor? Like 12/7? Or is it that hes completely worthless? Because even if hes a 12/7 type of guy thats not bad at 14

Durability is a question though for sure..i dont see him ever playing more than 75 games

Im not concerned about work ethic. Throw some millions into the equation then see how hard he works for that first extension

I'd say his floor is probably Thon Maker-esque. But his ceiling could be Porzingis. Like I said I think he's very boom or bust.

I suppose thats about right.

If we were running it back with the same crew i wouldnt be in favor of drafting bol. I would have liked a high floor low ceiling guy..but now we gotta look for a legit building block and i dont see any other players that could potentially be that in the 14 range

Using all 3 (#14, #20, #22) picks would make no sense for a number of reasons. Eats up cap space and developing 3 guys who are more likely to be a bust than anything, do not match the Brown/Tatum timeline we are currently on.
