I recently stepped up my cardio but I got this giant blister on my foot. Does anybody else get these and is there anything I can do to make sure I don't get them again?
yeah this is a shoes thing. Wear better socks and make sure your shoes fit right and don't cut / dig in at the wrong spots like your Achilles or ball of your feetAre your shoes too big/small? Especially if they're too big, easy way to cause urself problems with your feet moving around inside your shoes.
How thick are your socks?

Should my socks be thicker because they are fairly thin.
I don't wanna swear by them because I really just started using them, but I feel lighter when I take them off and my calves are huge.Do u have a lot of room in those shoes? Thicker socks might help a bit. why are you using ankle weights? Especially during cardio, for me they mess up my natural stride. Everyone is diff tho. Some folks swear by ankle weights

you think you just need to break them in a little bit?man, I got a new pair of shoes not too long ago, but sometimes they hurt my feet. I can typically run in them sometimes, but if I wear them repeatedly my feet will hurt. I wore them today running 8 miles, yesterday running 8.5 miles and thursday running 7 miles and got a blister on my pinky toe today
my old shoes, that I still have are more comfortable but have less cushion. I'm probably gonna rest the next couple days and hopefully it will be OK.
