BlackPAC | BlackPAC
BlackPAC is an independent, Black led organization that will use the power of elections and government to change our economic, justice and social systems.
This new vehicle will harness the power of Black voters to elect candidates in every region and at an every level. And unlike other efforts, we keep going after Election Day.
BlackPAC will build a lasting infrastructure to hold our officials accountable to a policy agenda that defends Black lives, promotes dignity, and fosters economic justice in our communities and across the nation.
In 2016, we are launching voter contact operations in key states where the Black vote will be decisive in the Presidential and down ballot races.
How do we build power?
Define the debate: Through creative media and campaigns, we make it impossible for the public to ignore urgent issues. And we hold officials publicly accountable.
Get our people out: We provide new resources along with best-in-class research to support unprecedented levels of voter education and mobilization in tight federal, state and local municipal races across the country.
Build it to last: We advocate for our agenda 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Between elections, we will mobilize our communities to hold politicians to their promises.
Our Agenda
The 2016 is election is about more than voting for a candidate or a party. It’s our chance to #VoteBlack and cast our ballots with a purpose. We’ve pooled the expertise of grassroots leaders and policy experts across the country to create a common policy agenda that will tackle institutional racism and lift up Black communities.

Our economy needs a total overhaul. Racial, gender and wealth gaps need to be closed. We need a sound structure that ensures equal opportunity as well as housing, workplace and financial security in our communities.

Repairing our broken political systems starts with voting. We need to expand voting access. Elect leaders committed to Black people and our issues. And hold them accountable to their promises.

Our justice system isn’t always just for all. Black people are over sentenced, over policed and overlooked when it comes to ensuring laws are applied equally to our community. We need major shifts at every level-from neighborhood police stations to the Justice Department-to turn things around.
