I never see this random forgotten movie mentioned or streaming anywhere...maybe bc it bombed at the box office? (Not like it was gonna be a smash hit...)

Movie is decent...Pretty big list of names for the cast...(RDJ, Elijah Wood, Ben stiller, lots of Wu, Tyson playing himself, Joey Pants, Jared Leto, Allan Houston, Claudia Schiffer, etc.)

it highlights well the “hip-hop phase” that lots of wealthy white kids go thru only to abandon the culture they sharked for their next “phase”

also highlighted white privilege well with the white kid getting off that murder wrap bc he’s the DA’s son.

Dope opening scene with brehs bussin thots down in the park...

Raekwon as “cigar”...Power Grant reprising his Knowledge from belly role/playing himself

the CREAM TEAM coming out on top at the end...

Tyson dropping mad vocab on Power...”sounds like he’s tryna stagnate your process...”

worth a watch at least...

it aint that great, other than some interracial scene from irrelevant actresses there is no point in talking about this movie. it was around this time i started to sour on all thing New York especially urban ( Don't read that wrong, just tired of the New York urban scene, not urban scene in general). This was before "hipsters" became a thing. Imaging if they was casting for the shiet now, I'd want to punch everybody in the movie black and white.

Power macking Claudia Schiffer was the highlight. As a Wu stan that shyt made me smile. Power overall was a G in this shyt.
But yeah, decent but nothing special is how I would describe this. Had some funny moments and attempted to say something about racial identity but overall didn't hit.
