@DrX I'm starting to feel your pain.
The shyt we SUPPOSED to care about like Professional accolades, trade associations, business cards, black networking, LEGIT websites (that don't look like it was slapped together by a grade school HTML coder) we don't invest time in. I offer business consulting on the side for IT/Marketing for small corporations and sometimes I look to donate my services for free when the time is right and it's for a high potential Black start-up. But 99% of the time I get no response or they just go under and are just too slow to react bumbling all over the place and get eaten alive by the market. Here's the thing though: 50% of the time if they would have just allowed me to help they might still be around. There's been at least 10 companies that failed because basically they wouldn't let me help them out.
But we can spend time designing T-shirts, bum azz logos, drafts and sketches of sneaker designs and re-selling on the block like a dollar tree azz low income buffoon. Low class shyt then wonder why we relegated to lower class in this society. My nikka T-bone got a budding business selling cheap ass T-shirts meanwhile I can't even give advice on REAL corporate P&L dollars and sense shyt when it comes to Black business AT ALL. They giving this nikka sometimes upwards of $5000 a month to sell some got damn cheap China apparel but won't give me $5000 to source advertising initiatives, find paralegal help or other SERIOUS shyt that they need. But they got STACKS OF money for some fukking Tees THAT HALF THE TIME WE DON'T EVEN WEAR IT BE CACS.
nikkas ain't serious. We don't want to build or collaborate. I just had a Black CEO juke me THEN talmbout 12 months later saying "Can you demonstrate what you would bring to the table". I'm like nikka please
you took like a WHOLE GOT DAMN YEAR to respond to my message and your company HAS NOT DONE A GOT DAMN THING IN THAT WHOLE TIME....I look him up on crunchbase, angel.co and shyt, google news NOT A DAMN THING HAS HAPPENED....fukk him. You can't just come back whenever you please and have this shyt done on your sweet jambalya bullshyt timeline.
This is why nikkas can't collaborate and I can't take Black companies serious. Why we always gotta half ass shyt????
