But how could these kids not understand what went down at their school in the 60s - 80s

Any black kid at that school should be required to attend Black students association orientation to learn about what went down over there

This was still happening at ole miss....

....as recently as 2013.

They changed the colonel, an ole miss mascot, recently cause dude was designed after a plantation owner or some shyt. racist undertones

Ole miss is probably one of the biggest remaining bastions of open racism in the south

I could not ever send my kid there, and I feel terribly for the young black men and women who enrolled there right after segregation was abolished. Lord knows what they went through every day.
