Tronic was a great album. He should have got more attention for that.

I tried to peep Random Axe and just couldn't get into it. I don't think his production fits Sean P, either.
random axes lp was aight but album of the year is his best work to date. i feel like his skills on the mic had nearly caught up to his skill on the boards on there. i been wondering when hes gonna drop his next album, anyone know?
and the crazy shyt about that random axe lp is that he had to remake that entire album after his hsrd drive crashed and he lost the original album thats why the lp was delayed for so long. man i wish i could hear that o.g. version though. i bet that shyt was banging as fukk compared to the version we got.

beatwise pop demand>tronic>aoty to me. i just assume that the more he improves on his lyricism, the less time he puts into his beats, also not forgetting the features he does on other albums and touring etc etc.
I thought he was gonna replace dilla (which, in a way, 'replace' sounds corny in itself) but honestly flying lotus came through and crushed the goddamn buildings. dude is incredibly multi faceted, depths and depths of sonic universes, blah blah.
regardless, i maintain the utmost respect for black. his bangers BANG.

Really? I don't know that project was kind of underwhelming to me. Black's production was kind of flat to me and didnt really mesh with everyone's style. Now the production he did on Danny Brown's album Black and Brown was amazing. That production should've been on Random Axe.
