If you've never seen it, imagine everything coated in about 1/8 inch of ice; roads, sidewalks, grass, everything. It's dangerous to even walk outside. Hills are treacherous too because the roads are so slick you can't stop and you can't turn.
I went outside yesterday just as it hit, a bridge froze over early and I couldn't even get get across it. I was going maybe 10 mph and my car slide SIDEWAYS off the road
Hit a traffic divider no dmg thankfully, I'm lucky I didn't roll off the side of the embankment. Took me 45 minutes on residential roads to get home.
