Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde might be the greatest Hip Hop album of all time

It's the songs, lyrics, beats, and samples. It's a coming of age album but it's also a very nostalgic album that's timeless because no matter how old you get, you can always go back and revisit and relive your youth listening to this album

The range in topics is second to none from jokes about "Ya Mama" to getting over a love with "Otha Fish" to a crush with "Passing Me By" to police brutality with "Mr. Officer" to getting high with "Pack The Pipe" and it flows so effortlessly.

The Pharcyde didn't hold back. They were truth to themselves (something Hip Hop use to thrive off of) and just kept it real and did their own thing.

I've gone back and forth with these 2 albums over the years, but Bizarre was them catching lightning in a bottle. Don't get me wrong, I fukks with Labcabin, but Bizarre is their magnum opus. It's a masterpiece

The first two albums are classics in the vein of Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders. I still have those albums on my playlist, great listens and ahead of their time really.
