Biopics Where The Real Story Is Even Crazier And More Over-The-Top Than The Film Depicting It?

the true story behind Goodfellas is one that surprised me because of how insane it was (and Goodfellas as a film was already pretty over-the-top). For example, the real Tommy, unlike Pesci, was like 6'4 and looked like a movie star. Both him and the real-life Jimmy were a lot more sadistic, cruel and killed more people IRL than they did in the film. there was just A LOT that the film left out that they could've added. I actually think a biopic focusing on either Jimmy or Tommy specifically has enough material for it's own film (Henry Hill was actually the least interesting person in Goodfellas story).

Hacksaw Ridge

Mel Gibson decided not to film a couple of Desmond Doss' feats because he was afraid of a :duck: response from the audience:

While Doss lowered the injured down the ridge,
a Japanese soldier actually had Doss dead to rights many times but his gun jammed at every chance.

Medics tried to get an injured Doss off the battlefield but he rolled off his stretcher and insisted they get another injured soldier off first. While they were gone Doss got sniped, adding a wrecked left arm to his injuries but he still crawled near quarter of a mile to get to safety.
