Raging Bull needed more boxing narrative for me. Didn't care for all the domestic life scenes after a certain point:ld:

Devotion could have been much better if they didn't make up a sibling love triangle for some reason.:ld: You're telling me there wasn't enough interesting material to make a Bronte sisters biopic:leostare:

Patton, Raging Bull, Malcolm X, The Doors... are pretty much the standard for biopics for me alot of biopics are basic as fukk and play it too safe even when the subjects weren't safe people. I thought Ray was the last really good biopic..

Walk The Line was damn near a rehash of Ray.... great musician haunted by the death of their brothers and strict parents who fall into drug addiction and have relationship troubles.. but they both have that ONE woman that keeps them steady in the end.... thought the lead performances carried the movie.
