Today is March 16, which has become known as Austin 3:16 day. If you’re on social media at all then you’ve probably seen the #316Day hashtag and a lot of content about Steve Austin that WWE has released to celebrate the career of the WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin. It’s pretty cool to see all of the content.

Something to look forward to next month is the A&E Biography documentary about various WWE legends with Austin’s Biography out first on Sunday, April 18.

A&E released a sneak peek video about Austin learning how to become the “Stone Cold” character and its origins. If you’ve read Austin’s book or seen other WWE documentaries about him then you probably know how he got the “Stone Cold” name, but if you don’t know then you’ll find out in this video. The preview clip features comments from Austin talking about his career along with people that know him well. Some of the people talking about Austin in the below video are WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, Triple H, The Undertaker, Jim Ross, Mick Foley, Bruce Prichard and more.

Here’s what A&E sent out today about the preview clip.

Premiering Sunday, April 18 at 8pm ET/PT on A&E, the two-hour biography provides an intimate look at the stories behind the Legend and is part of a 10-week programming partnership between A&E and WWE. Full info below and interviews about the partnership are available upon request pending availability.

:mindblown: Why can A&E produce such a good looking documentary with some real talk from actual wwe wrestlers but when wwe produce a doc it’s such a fluff piece?

This shyt looks Fire. Looks better than both of the original docs wwe did on him.

Starts in 5 minutes. Looking forward to it. Would prefer DVR’ing it to watch later so I can skip the commercials but I’m a Austin stan so Ima watch it live.

They really need to do a doc with an indie wrassler being a local star but have him in his car at nite eating potatoes and tuna

Woulda been nice if they had Eric Biscoff describe why they fired him. These are the same people who did Michael Jordan’s Last Dance so I was hoping they’d get everyone that had a integral part in Austin’s career the way they did for the MJ doc.
