Maher is a Zionist and Israel apologist, denies the benefits of vaccinations and the massive scientific evidence associated with it (while making fun of the Tea Baggers for denying scientific evidence for Climate Change), and is a by-the-book Democratic partisan.
John Stewart is more knowledgeable and makes the stronger points (has a stronger team behind him and waaay more responsibility so he has to be on point).
Bill Maher is more entertaining, has the better show and cooks up much stronger ether...
I maintain the Jon Steward has the best research team on TV. They dig up obscure clips dating back decades sometimes to push their narrative. I'm amazed by it sometimes.
Maher is funnier and isn't quite as partisan. Stewart tows the party line a bit too much for my liking, even when criticizing a dem it seems totally forced
Love Maher when he really has a point because he just goes Ether on dudes.
At the same time, he can be very self-centered and gets very caught up in his own little talking points - Stewart always maintains balance.
Can't really go wrong either way, Stewart is the comedian who will win the fight by unanimous decision after spending 12 rounds slowly breaking down his opponent.
Maher is a wild cat who might delivery a KO any second now... but it's not always guaranteed he will.
