Big Xbox exclusives like Perfect Dark or Everwild still years away according to Christopher Dring

This information comes from Christopher Dring, from Gamesindustry, in VGC's latest episode of their podcast. In it, Dring mentions that games like Perfect Dark, Everwild and Fable are "so, so far away". The full transcription can be found in the following quote:

''...if you look at the games, I've got a XSX and I love it, I have a PS5 and I love it, I play my PS5 because of the loads of exclusives games that I don't have on the XSX and when you look at the XBOX...XBOX has a lot of amazing studios and these games are coming but, I've had few conversations with friends at XBOX Games Studios and those games they announced, Everwild, Perfect Dark, Fable are so far away, as in, they might even be in a new XBOX by the time these games come out(jokingly of course lol), they are so far away and when you look at the Hideo Kojima stuff you wonder if they are signing third parties in the moment because they don't have a line-up of big exclusives at all''

Demon’s souls, Miles, Sackboy, astro, destruction all stars, returnal, ratchet....etc This is after 2020 of absolutely crushing it with 1st party titles also.

I know you gonna say those games are trash but they are exclusives and people love them....thats just something microsoft ain’t providing.

Series x is still suffering from the same major problem the one suffered from. The fact that they aren’t offering anything you can’t play anywhere else.

It rings especially true if you missed out on any 2020 tiles like Dreams, GoT,TLOU2 and the 3rd party titles like Persona 5 royal, Strikers, Nioh, 13 sentinels...etc

You also have to consider not everyone plays these games at record pace. Sounds believable to me. Microsoft hasn’t really put out any exclusives in a while

This is what made me appreciate square enix when it came to FF16:
