ODESSA, Fla. (WFLA) – WWE superstar and Tampa Bay resident John Cena has given a local 7-year-old battling a life-threatening illness one of the best early birthday surprises.

On Sunday, Cena visited 7-year-old David Castle at his Odessa home. Castle is currently battling Wilms tumor, which is a type of childhood cancer that starts in the kidneys.

Tammy Miller, Castle’s mom, said the superstar brought her 7-year-old lots of goodies including two WWE title belts, signed T-shirts, a signed program, signed bobblehead, hat and some of his armbands.

Miller said Castle was filled with excitement and had tears of joy when he saw one of his favorite wrestlers.

The surprise visit was made possible by officials with Pasco County Fire Rescue.

The little WWE fan was diagnosed with Wilms tumor on Oct. 25, 2019. He was taken to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital after complaining of not feeling well and being very tired for several days. Doctors reported Castle’s illness was already in stage four upon diagnoses. The tumor has already begun to spread to other parts of his body.

Miller told News Channel 8 Castle has already undergone very painful tests, surgery, and long days and nights at the hospital. He still has many months of radiation and chemotherapy to go.

This is off tangent and off topic but Cena does what he does because he gets paid millions to do it and to help the McMahon image out after that Benoit fiasco.

The Rock was just helping a guy who lived fast and didn't save his money knowing DAMN WELL he wanted to come to wrestling school. His charity has merits. It took 11 years for this shyt to come out. You can't go a week on Raw without Cena using kids for attention because he can't generate a cheer on his own. Practically unheard of..I don't know who's sicker. Him or Vince.

Cena gets paid 4 million to come to work every week, which is the only reason he does Make a Wish.

Bah. .Every time he does a wish it's a photo op and mentioned on wwe.com in spectacular view.

Lol@own time. Cena lives the WWE schedule.

He likes it. So does everyone else. Who ever called it a hardship and why isn't it listed in every other big name's merits when feats are spoken of? You cats have to stop being so dense. Stop relying on little Stephen a smilies and realize John Cena gets 4 million a year..more than anyone else. Why wouldn't he do Make a Wish? It's his job.

If he wasnt making over 6 million a year, he wouldn't have done one make a wish grant. Hes a phony trying to stack his bread up. The rich trying to get richer...same sh1t, different industry.

U too but if you gonna whine...whine about what makes sense and not about some guy that gets paid millions to help a kid who can barely breathe on his own.

If he wasn't making over 5 million a year, he would of never granted one wish. He gets paid to do it all. Paid very well.

:scust: imagine being this heated over someone making dying children happy
