BIG house + almost no vacation or.. SMALL house.. 2-3 vaca a YEAR?

i made a purchase 4 years back...

when i bought it. the salesman told me that i was making a sacrifice..

no vacation but i would enjoy growth in house value..but if i buy cheaper i get to go on vacationn 2-3 times a year...


i took option 1,, went on vaca twice in 4 years but house value rose abou 110k...
strugled a while too...

what option wuld guys take.. smaller house and live... or bigger and suffer..but 4 years later make a profit

I would honestly take the small house at least you will enjoy life more if you can travel more often

small house by far. take your trips it makes life more complete to go see new things get a break from it all

as long as your home is large and nice enough to suit your needs why pay for more when you could do other things with the money?

when it comes time for me to buy i plan to buy small and cheap that way im not living check to check and have money to spare

the fukk you look like bein cooped up in a house all year just cuz its big??? i give a damn what size it is, you still starin at the same 4 walls daily. that small house and multiple vacation would just make the time off that much sweeter/enjoyable

I'd get a medium-sized house and go on medium-valued vacations. Throwing down crazy mad paper is paying $4 for an iced coffee drink at a Cinnabon at a rest area on route 95.

Btw, that house value don't mean shyt til u can sell it and actually get that profit. My crib went up 80k according to zillow since I copped in 09 and it don't mean shyt.

I am a man of simple pleasures. I don't need a big luxurious house. Just a small place where I feel comfortable. As long as its big enough to live comfortably, nothing else really matters...
