By "modern", I'm saying anything that premiered from 2010 to today. Anything older than 2010 is now approaching 20 years old, that's almost a full generation ago. That ain't "modern"...
So, no order, my Big 3 modern black sitcoms. Just listing alphabetically;
Abbott Elementary
Black•ish
Insecure
Insecure resonates with me the most, as I was 27 when it came out, and the accurate portrayals of late 20s/early 30s black people finding their way thru life, was everything. Not a lot of shows like that. Bit I enjoy the other two and think they are more than deserving of high praise...
Is there any other show that realistically even fits with these shows in modern era? Post yall modern Big 3 in here!
