I'd be pretty confident it's gonna end up in the Supreme Court, and unfortunately Roberts was a fukking clown already with what he did to the Voting Rights Act. The only way I imagine him voting significantly in DOJ favor is if he feels guilty. And although I haven't been able to predict Kavanaugh or Barrett yet, I could easily see both of them ruling against the DOJ even if Roberts sides with it. Can't get anything done unless they get Roberts AND one of the others which is fukking insane that we're at that point.
