"Beware the Batman" Is The WO.A.T. Batman Cartoon

....NEVER have I seen Batman get his ASS KICKED by so many nondescript also-ran "villains" than on this cartoon (it's on HBO MAX).

This version of Alfred is terrible.

This Batman has less control over his emotions (see the Killer Croc episode).

Katana as the "new Robin" feels forced.

In short....never, ever, ever EVER watch this, y'all.

Nah, it was cool.

It was closer in tone to Batman Earth One because Bruce was younger and inexperienced, and Alfred was his bodyguard instead of his butler.

Also had a nice emphasis on Bruce's detective work.

I'm glad it's all on HBO Max because I never saw the second half when it aired on toonami. Didn't even think they were legally allowed to stream it.

This version of Batman was supposed to be more grounded and realistic than the normal Justice League version, so of course he had more trouble with normal villains.
