Alright, so the '96 v. '03 was a landslide. In hindsight, it probably wasn't the best comparison. Too much depth, too many accomplishments, too much greatness. 1996 as a whole is probably beyond compare as of now.

I'm bringing in 1984 now. :youngsabo:

And I'm narrowing it down to each draft's Mount Rushmore...for "debate reasons." :shaq:

If there's a top 4 from some other draft better than these classes (:shaq2:), name 'em.

4 Best from 1984:
Michael Jordan
Hakeem Olajuwon
Charles Barkley
John Stockton

4 Best from 1996:
Kobe Bryant
Allen Iverson
Ray Allen
Steve Nash

4 Best from 2003:
LeBron James
Carmelo Anthony
Dwyane Wade
Chris Bosh

Vote and discuss. :jawalrus: And tell me how much of an idiot I am for including 2003. :umad:

Both are top five ever at their positions.

Barkley was a monster during the first 12 or so years of his career, but never won a ring.

Wade has been ill the majority of his career, and has two rings(one as the main man).

Even.

03's is corny cuz 3/4 of them cats play on the same team

96 has a big gap between the first two and last two

Barkley is EASILY top 5 at this position. There's a bit of room for debate for Wade at his position.

Barkley was also able to grab a regular season MVP award in the Jordan era.

Despite the two rings I think overall Barkley's had a better career. I think some people have forgotten just how great he was because he's become such a clown since he retired.

Didn't even have to go past Mike and Dream. No other draft has two guys on that level and then you through Barkley in there and don't really see how any other Rushmore competes. Stockton aka the all-time leader in ast and stls there on some btw type shyt. Don't see how it can eve be a debate.

I don't think it's that. I think it's that they just never saw him play. He was a beast. I don't think you can fully appreciate anyone, Jordan included, unless you saw them while they were playing and playing in their prime.

True, I might have to fall back on these comparison threads. I be thinking that there's more diversity of opinion on things. I thought the generational gaps would lead people to being more biased for a certain class.

'96 is the best draft class ever, but as far as a Mt. Rushmore, it's not even fair.
