This might be the most difficult matchup of this round. I knew of AJ Styles before but really didn't see his work until he came to WWE and he has been phenomenal. He's had quite the career and has just gotten better in WWE and accomplished being a champion twice. Something lots of wrestlers can't say they've done. I will say he's my second favorite current WWE wrestler. Naito is my favorite NJPW wrestler. So this is a tough matchup. Naito got a swagger and presence about him thats one of the best. He can also go in the ring as well. I'm not familiar with all of his work either but what I've seen has impressed me so far. AJ could arguably be one of the best wrestlers WWE has had. I feel like he has a decent reportoire and can hang with pretty much everyone. He's a vet so he knows his stuff. I think Naito is young, maybe early 30s but could be wrong. I love seeing both of their matches. I feel like this is just like the Shawn vs Okada matchup, no not white man vs "chinese playfighter" :troll:, but a veteran vs an equally skilled younger guy. And I think I'm gonna go the same route in this matchup and vote for the veteran AJ. Actually I just saw that Naito is 37, so not young but still has some years left. Now hopefully he can continue giving us great matches and maybe 5 years from now I might say him instead but for now I gotta go with AJ

With that being said, I know AJ was in NJPW with him. Are there any matches that you guys are aware of between the two that would be good to watch? Any recommendations? Maybe that would've been something nice to have in the matchups. Any matches between the two could've been posted for the voters viewing pleasure. Maybe in another tournament, something to think about.

AJ ruled New Japan those short years he was there. Short and sweet like Austin and Rocks WWF run
Naito's cool but AJ was final boss tier as the Champ
Naito still underdog even with those 2 belts
