Ok strap in because i just came up with a way to save Wrestlemania which was already shytty storyline wise but is it even worse with the virus causing real life hysteria and possibly postponing the big event altogether.
Phase 1: Cancel All PPVs in March & April and announce that for the 1st time ever Wrestlemania will be the hottest event of the summer in July 2020
WWE should continue doing empty arena events but also mix in WWE backstage elements to the broadcasts. As time goes on, they should be having some matches to further storylines but also have a special setup on the side with Renee, Booker and Paige interviewing guests or any celebs they can round up to talk WWE in the P.C. about their love of WWE and how its great they are still doing this for America and the people. Make it have a studio feel and not a wrestling event. I
Phase 2: Start Fresh at the "Money in the Bank" PPV in early May
Have Vince McMahon open up the first RAW back with a live audience (sometime in late April) saying in 2 weeks time, we will have a special "8 man Money in the Bank Ladder match" with participants from all 3 brands and this time, the winner will have to the cash in his briefcase at the hottest event of the summer, Wrestlemania where he will the choice of any World title of his choosing to "shake things up a bit"
If done right, Fans will find this unique and intrigued on who the participants will be and who will disrupt the 2 already established main events.
I personally think the participants should be a nice mix of young guys on the brink of stardom with no current plans for Wrestlemania such as...
1. Ciampa (NXT)
2. Gargano (NXT)
3. Otis (SD)
4. Dolph (SD)
5. Daniel Bryan (SD)
6. Drew Gulak (SD)
7. Ricochet (RAW)
8. Angel Garza (RAW)
Phase 3: A new Star is on the rise
For 2 weeks, they hype this big Money in the bank up and the Backstage crew hype it up and the Internet wrestling community is buzzing.
However, one week on Smackdown. Dolph really cuts deep into Otis saying things like
"can you even climb a ladder Otis or will you just break through the rungs with your fat body. U are fat and time has passed your type by. Everyone else is a athletic specimen in this MITB match coming up. U stand no chance of winning this, u stand no chance of ever main eventing a wrestlemania, and u stand NO CHANCE of ever getting with my girl Mandy Rose!!
The camera shows Otis visibly shaken up and sad walking up the ramp similar to Eugene from years back
however, the camera shows Dolph gloating but Mandy Rose seems indifferent and looks at Otis walk up the ramp. Show ends.
Phase 4. Money in the Bank PPV in May (1st ppv since coronavirus)
Obviously we have another classic ladder match with crazy spots by the usual suspects. It seems Dolph is about to win the briefcase when shockingly Mandy Rose gets a hold of the ladder as the crowd goes wild
Dolph is pleading with her from up top but she pushes the ladder over as dolph goes flying off the ladder to the mat below
Mandy screams "its over!!" and marches up the rampway to a huge pop.
Otis starts to stir in the ring as the crowd chants "Otis! Otis! Otis!
He lifts the ladder up and slowly climbs up. He reaches up and grabs the Money in the Bank briefcase to a huge pop from the crowd
"He did it, I cant believe it...Otis is going to wrestlemania!!!"
Phase 5: Wrestlemania 36 in July...
Obviously its been built up similar to Kofimania with the whole wrestling world behind the underdog Otis and what he has planned tonight for Wrestlemania. Its a looming mystery.
"Brock vs Drew" happens in the middle of the show and people are wondering if Otis will come out. Drew wins the WWE title normally with no cash in from Otis.
Then in the main event,
Goldberg battles Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. Big fight feel...
The crowd is shytting on these guys similar to Wrestlemania 20 chanting "Otis" and "you both suck!"
Goldberg does it again and shocks the world by beating Roman Reigns in a matter of minutes and retains the Universal title!!!
crowd is booing heavily and goldberg plays into it similar to a heel.
Otis's theme hits
He comes out. Cashes in the briefcase to make it a 1on1 match
Goldberg spears Otis not once not twice but 3 times.
Goldberg laughs at Otis as the crowd boos.
Tucker comes out to ringside and talks to
Otis on the mat saying "you got this man i believe in you."
Otis gets up off the mat and starts to hulk up.
Otis starts to pull a hulk hogan type come back. Starts taking it to Goldberg, hits his moves and pins Goldberg 1-2-3 to shockingly win the Universal title
Otis and Tucker celebrate in the ring with an emotional moment similar to New Day last year but the one big difference is...
As Otis is covered in confetti...a returning Mandy Rose comes walking down the ramp who we haven't seen since Money in the Bank.
She looks at Otis...he looks at her....
And Mandy gives a big happy ending Disney style kiss on his lips as the crowd goes insane and moms and trans are crying tears of joy in the crowd.
The show ends with Otis the new face of Smackdown with Mandy Rose as his Ms. Elizabeth
