I need software (greaT) for stat analysis. I know some of you have jobs where you work with these types of programs. Do you have any suggestions for the top of the list or the 2nd, 3rd best programs to use for stat analysis?
I use
SPSS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
most of the time with my research for bio. I find it easy to manipulate variables and create figures. Excel is also good, depending on how you have it set up, and I'm sure there are others, but I like this one.
SAS? The other students in my Econ classes used this, though, I used one of the free programs (I think it was called Greta?), I'm trying ot remember the name. For minor stuff, there's an add on that allows you to use Excel.
Uh, yeah. you can easily do that even with barebones excel.Does it do curve fits on graphs and allow you to create stat data?

Well then you're gonna have to describe your project then because Excel can do almost everything, especially with the right pluginsNeed something more powerful then that trash though.
