Best Sci-Fi Action Movies?

My standards are not very high as far as action movies go (I liked Prometheus).

I just watched Oblivion and Edge of Tomorrow and I really liked both.

Any good recs? Preferably stuff from the last 25 years.

I've seen the first three Alien movies. I really liked the first one.

The second was good too but the 3rd was pretty trash. Didn't waste my time with the 4th.

I've also seen Looper, Gattaca, and District 9.

Will look into the others.

Aliens is the GOAT.
Pacific Rim on Blu-Ray changed my life. My boy had the surround system and the big flat screen. We vaped some sour and the movie was amazing.
District 9 is also up there.
