Wondering if any of you know of great places for people without jobs to work and what not. I've got another year to get my associates, and I am considering working full time while attending school full time this upcoming semester. I want it to be worth it, however, and I want a job that would pay me well. Places that require some sort of training but provide it for you would be preferred.

Anybody have any ideas to share

Look into getting certifications...

Your local community college offers a course or you can buy your own book for self study.

You can start of at 15-20 an hour with no experience

If you willing to work hard sometimes and be away from home a couple days out of the week, the railroad is great. You're gonna start out with atleast 45k and become a "engineer" in a few years and be at 60k+.

best jobs are the ones thats hard to get. I'm talkin city workers, like garbage man, water dept, shyt like that.

either that or postal worker. u definitely gonna get bread from them.

railroad is a lick too. this nikka that went to college with me went to grad school and the whole nine. he making less money than his lil bro who dropped out of school and got a railroad job.

Word? I'll throw in an application. I'm more concerned about background checks. I have a dui from last year and I'm sure a lot of places are gonna tell me to go fukk myself based off that.

1 dui aint shyt breh. i work for a major retailer and got 2 on my record.. well the GM there is a close friend of mine but i still had to get a background check... they're mostly looking for any history of violence or theft. dui isnt exactly the crime of the century breh, you'll be fine applying for jobs that dont require driving if youre straight up with them when they ask.

shyt, it's tough to get a job if you DO have a degree. Good luck though.
