What death scene made the biggest emotional impact on you?
Cleo
I think this is the one you should probably feel the least "sorry" for. However, I actually think its the best directed scene. The music, the cigarette scene, the moment you think she's dead and then she goes out in a blaze of glory.....but really its not. You see the suffering in her face and the shyt just hits you like a ton of bricks.
Ricky
Lets get the cons out of the way. Some of the worst decisions I've seen a character make while trying to run away. The having to take a piss, the wanting to split up, etc. Except all is forgiven/forgotten(well almost) when you see him running for his life. Seeing him gunned down like that was wild. The real emotion comes from seeing how his mom reacts when they bring his body home. Then come to find out he got the test score he needed to go to college anyway. Just sad and fukked up stuff.
Caine
Unlike the other three this is the main character dying. Breh was getting ready to start a new life for himself. This was the second best directed scene of these choices as well imo. Seeing him run after the boy to protect him. O Dog's reaction to everything sells it as well. Just in total shock. Seeing the gunshots out of the back of Caine's body. Then unlike with Ricky we actually see Caine fighting for his last breath so that makes shyt worse. One of the biggest downer endings I've ever seen
Radio Raheem
Probably the least "attached" character of these choices. He wasnt one of the main stars, but carried so much emotion. Just seeing a cop literally choke the life out of him in front of so many people. I remember yelling at the screen I was so pissed first time I watched it. Cops just kicking his dead body and then throwing it in the back of the court. Truly horrific shyt.
