Imma go with the Saw series, even though the movies got progressively wacker, they made like 8 flicks in 8 years and everyone was anticipating the new traps and storyline twists

Most horror franchises end up being trash since they're franchises :ld:.

Had some stayed with just the first movie, they'd be looked at in a more positive light.

Don't know who I'd vote for on that list or another to suggest :ld:.

i would include the scream franchise but that shyt started in the 90s

I keep telling myself "there must be something better" but I can't think of any great franchises recently...I think of those, The Ring and Ring 2 were my favorites but I suppose Saw deserves props for the first three despite being near awful from then on.

The Descent even tho it's not really a franchise. Or house of a thousand corpses/devils rejects. You should add Wrong Turn they got like 4 sequels

None, because each franchise started out strong than, churned out :trash: after :trash:.

Final Destination 5 ending sort of redeemed its franchise.

I will say Resident Evil is the best Horror franchise of the 00s.

@RGM
they remakes tho, no?

leatherface in the 70's version :wow:

Started that whole remake craze too.
I actually see them as like a Volume 2.

if Friday the 13th would have had a sequel I would have put that one down.
I stand by Jason Voorhees, no matter how Sh!tty the movie.

That's my hockey masked serial killa:to:
