The refresh rate on that monitor is only 60 hertz. He's better off just using his 4k tv.

OP.. the trend right now with monitors is 4k at 60 fps or 2k monitor at a way higher frame rate like 144hz+
For a game like call of duty, you dont want to be at a disadvantage playing at a lower fps(60hz). For a game like GOD of War or Spiderman its cool.
My suggestion is, if you already have a 4k tv, game on that at 4k 60fps. Then wait for more monitors capable of playing 4k at 120fps at a decent price to become available. Or get a 2k monitor with capable of doing 120fps +.+
For example..OP.. I have a 27inch 1440p monitor with all the latest bells and whistles that can get me 150 plus fps.
I also have a 4KTV

If you're going to get a Ps5 then you're gonna have to buy a 1080p or a 4k monitor. Apparently it doesn't support 1440p.

Just get a tv breh. They don't make monitors that support the HDMI cables w/ 120fps, save that $500 and wait til you can get a tv that does have that.
