This is probably more 90s than current, but I'm listening to Finn Balor's current theme and it's taken me this long to realize it incorporates his face theme and reminded me of those old school face/heel chopped and screwed theme changes.
Not a full blown theme change or that trash it they did with Sami or Liv's theme, but taking the face theme, slowing it down or taking elements of the face theme and showing the character change.
Hollywood Rock comes to mind immediately.
