i'm not sure which forum to post this in but it didn't seem appropriate for TLR. my funds are limited but my future isn't looking too bad which is why I'm trying to get a jump. I'm a stand up comic on the local level and I'm just now getting to the point where I'm getting offers to travel. Obviously, networking is important at this level. I'd be satisfied for 100 cards/50 bucks. I don't have my own design yet, but I do have photos that would work on a card. I've been to vista print and moo(?) and the deals look alright. the issue is that the designs look very common, particularly with the former. am i being too petty or american psycho-ish? i know this won't be my look forever but I want to make a good impression, even as an independent amateur in the entertainment biz.

IN SHORT FOR THOSE THAT DON'T WANT TO READ:

what's the best site for business/networking cards? i don't have a website. i also need 50-200 cards ASAP. any other tips on success with this ephemera would be appreciated as well.

help me network IRL, brehs :sadcam:!

Vistaprint.com got me 250 cards under ten bucks, i'd go with them as a starter.
Why not use both though for as cheap as possible?

good point. im just a picky person so i'm looking for some positive reinforcement on choosing on or the other. both never seemed like an option until you mentioned it. i like the moo design more but it's a bit pricier. if i utilize your logic, i could get 350 for 70$. instead of the 100 for 50$ which is 50 cents a card, i could get 350 for 20 cents and have more than 3x as many to jump off.

btw jw what type of business are you in? i'm doing entertainment like I said but I'm about to start my undergrad. long term, i want to be a lawyer.

Vistaprint breh. They got the game on lock like gladlock zip bags

i guess it's the little hipster instinct in me that wants to try something else but they do seem to have the best deals. i'm rebellious by nature so if everybody is doing it, for better or worse, i remain skeptical.

they are one of those too-good-to-be-true things that actually work. i dont know their business model, how they make money etc. but they supply good business cards for cheap

last guy i used was local, tried to throw the local printing press some biz. total :trash: i threw 99% of them away

there're only 2 cities for these. vistaprint or paperdirect.

both have coupons you can pick up all over net for 10 or 20% or free shipping depending on how many your getting.

I would recommend vistaprint, just for their low price and quality cards.
I had business cards made by them for me when I was a po-po cop.
