:ohhh:Thinking about the fact that Puffy & The Hitmen probably produced most of the songs on their first 3 albums when they were on Bad Boy Records got me wanting to listen to them.

@stomachlines @jadillac Are those first three 112 albums any good?

their debut album was great. 2nd one was cool and then third one i hardly ever remember outside of the singles, lol

Every 112 album after the 1st album was a let down overall for me.

It was that good....and just not the singles.

They had a dope single in 05 tho called "What If" too bad they could keep making songs like that

Has to be first....That middle school feeling, that cream colored cd, the all white cover, I bought that in 99 I think, in 8th grade, I loved "Only You" (Remix) since 1997, but could never buy the cd.

I know the third is held in high acclaim, but "It's Over" and "Peaches & Cream", or that Beanie Sigel assisted one, just didn't have that feel of the first one.

The second is solid, very much an attempt to do the same thing as the first, and it mostly works.

Only You
Come See Me
Call My Name
Throw It All Away

vs

Love Me
Someone to Hold
Your Letter
Love You Like I Did
Anywhere

I mean, if you take away the obvious edge, of maybe the best Bad Boy single of all time, the second could take it. That was real time 8th grade classic moment.

That Lil Zane verse was CRAZY to me as a child :mjlol:

Add the Anywhere remix with Shyne
