How the fukk did that Mandalorian chick forge Mando's armor in Season 1 if it can't be melted? You telling me that flame was hotter than a lightsaber?

Im sure if given enough time and pressure a lightsaber will cut through the beskar staff....but the Mandalorians dont have a fighting style based on tanking hits, they're highly mobile hit and run types...the beskar is good for taking hits yes, but not tanking them
I think Its the reaaon Mando was still on the backfoot initially against Gideon...he can deflect the dark saber with his armor but be cant straight up parry unless he has the staff

Striking something with high heat isn’t the same as subjecting it to high boiling, constant heat all over.

Like how? They have laser/ plasma based weapons already. The Death Star used Khyber crystals for its laser as seen in Rogue One

so basically you and op's problem is you don't remember alot of the stuff you saw in this show alone that answers these question.
1) for OP, you could clearly see in the duel in the final episode that the lightsaber was getting the beskar hot enough where it starting glowing red not unlike this
meaning given enough time, the lightsaber would have eventually melted it. it's resistant not lightsaber proof.
2) Regarding using the technology in guns. Which guns don't use this tech? literally every weapon fires a laser. not a single solid projectile has ever been seen in starwars

Then how come the lasers dont go through people like the light sabers?
because then it would be rated r. like the john wick series. they limit the lightsaber stabbings to once or twice per movie. unless it's robots. also mando had a gun that disintegrates people so arguably they surpassed lightsaber tech in guns.

a lightsaber is basically a brick phone in the starwars universe. They still use them out of tradition.
