I remember being a youngin and hearing everyone I bumped into say they were fiending for that shyt to drop, seems like it took a long ass time to drop too. To keep it 100, nikkas were waiting for that solo Jada album since like 1996.


I would list Andre 3000 but the hood ain't really checking for duke like that. Only nerd nikkas on message boards

Nah there wasn't. I wanted there to be, but there was only the one. The day it came out a bunch of the cd's only had like 6 tracks on it. I worked at Best buy at the time so I just kept exchanging them till i got one with all of them, but a lot of people got screwed.

I don't know, I don't think so. Maybe some stuff circulated locally, but I didn't hear anything around Chicago. Just tapes with a couple of singles and unreleased stuff, but I dont remember it being labeled as his album. More like a mixtape made by some bootleg dude.

It's definitely up there, everyone was waiting for that Kiss solo after 'We Are The Streets', and the RR comps, remember how they would have those ridiculously innacurate 'Coming Soon' lists in all the major releases back then? We should do a whole thread on that. They had Jada on there for like two years, like in Jan. 2000, 'Jadakiss: Summer 2000', 'Styles P- Winter 2000', took like two three years for those to drop man.

Nah, Jada leaked like maybe 2 weeks before, with 14 tracks, but 6 new tracks leaked, some of the better ones, like the Preme track, and the posse cuts on the end of the album.
