Why do you think they haven't been able to make anything stick to him yet. What are the odds of a fake impeachment hearing in the 2nd term?don't underestimate these guys breh... these Karl Rove types are the most dangerous people in american politics... we just got lucky these last couple years
1. I think Obama benefits frankly from just a cyclical trend... people are tired of the Bush era and therefore the Dem coalition is a bit more battle hardened and independents are skeptical of the GOP crowd
2. I hate to say something superficial like this but it's true, Obama's swag is unimpeachable (don't ask me how), it's not easy for these old white dudes to ridicule him or attach some slogan or 'gaffe' to him
3. But I think it's a mistake to just look at it in terms of scandals for the top executive... they managed to get a huge win in the congressional races 2 years ago, blocking Obama's agenda and they're gonna keep working at that

However I meant this in a larger context, these southern conservative operatives have been punking liberals for near 40 years, don't underestimate them They can make strong candidates and situations implode in one second with their little antics, scandals, stopping recounts, amendments that get out the vote, and whatever else they do

America has been at war for a decade. America is the most violent first world country on the planet. The majority of American entertainment centers around murder or violence. 5 deaths, even though they are tragic, are not going to register with the American pysche.

Let's get the title straight first.....Libya vs. Fast and Furious.
Libya
One happened to be a old "Regime Change Coup" tactic changed under the "Arab Revolution" but in reality was that thousands upon thousands of black Libyans were killed and the U.S. claimed them as all "Sub Saharan Mercenaries". Leaving the whole country destroyed and setting up a new corrupt government who is helping to split the nation in half or into threes. The Militias are running wild...some AL-Q as installed by the new Libya Government, Others are Tribes who were in peace with Gaddafi's rules and don't like the new ones.
Fast and Furious
The corrupt government was already there with corrupt police/politicians with Drug Lord ties. Another old U.S. tactic used in a sense of the Iran-Contra days that keeps the fuel of conflict going while telling the media it's the Govt' vs. the Drug Cartels. In reality...it has resulted in over 60,000 deaths in less than 4 years and the U.N. has been silent.
Obama knows all of it but who is going to question him on it? Democrats...nope they either don't know or don't care as long as Obama is re-elected. Republicans? They are apart of the F&F and Libya Invasion...they only cared about the Americans dying in the blow-back not the Libyans and Mexican lives.
