The rookie wideout and fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft is reportedly struggling to establish separation from Bengals defensive backs across his first 10 days of training camp, showing signs of timidness with several drops and failing to secure contested passes.

I always felt Smitty should have been the Top WR taken. Waddle just got off to a hot start for me, I don't think he could have kept up That pace of almost 180 yards a game.

Chase isn't better than Justin Jefferson. There is a reason why JJ caught 30+ more catches the same year they played together.

Chase also has very short arms.

He didn’t even call him a bust. Just said he’s not getting separation. He didn’t really get separation in college either, but he balled out anyway. I’m sure he wasn’t going to look like Randy Moss on the first day.
