if you want to be real, going that deep on barbell is very bad for shoulders. youre only supposed to go max a little past parallel. Anybody who lifts big boy weight can attest to this.

I do unilateral floor press in my room with a 126lb dumbbell, the core stabilization required to keep you from rolling the fukk over is quite immense :merchant:

i dont bring it all the way down to my chest. i stop 2-3 inches from my it. still, i dont want to feel floor when i bring it down.

Floor press is alright, power lifters use it as more of an accessory than an actual main exercise. From a strength coach perspective the bench press is a more explosive/mass building lift compared to the floor press. Floor press could be considered the "box squat" for the bench and a really good tricep movement if you pause on the floor before you explode up since your triceps will be fully relaxed before the press.

I get a bunch of these :what: :scusthov: :ohhh: reactions when I do them in the squat rack though. Always brings the lolz.
