Thoughts for those who've seen it

Did you find it funny; and on what level?

What of Sellers' performance?

Only thing I remember is basketball Jones and that it seemed to be saying white dudes can get away with anything because they're white, like people want to follow white men strictly because they're white men.

I haven't seen it since a drive in experience during the 70s, though. Never really had a desire to watch it again. What did I miss?

We had to watch this one in a film class I took and I really liked it. It's comparable to Forrest Gump, except funnier, and Peter Sellers was great as Chauncey Gardner. Excellent final scene too.

Also the film is a nice time capsule of late 1970s Washington D.C.

Watched the moused that roared fairly recently. Good flick. Reminds me of kind hearts and coronets with Alec Guinness.(for the obvious multiple characters being played by the star)

I like the opening title gag too. My fav with Ralph's DA, DA ,DA , DAAAAAAA! In the Simpsons movie.

Never liked it when I first saw it, but that was time ago. Might need to watch again.
When it comes to sellers I only rewatch Dr. Strange Love, The Pink Panther and The Party.
